Course Details

This course introduces fundamentals of software architecture & design by using several practical examples from the process stages of idea inception, requirements gathering / analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The main emphasis will be on OO (Object Oriented) design & modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language) for different stages of SDLC (Software development Life Cycle) particularly within layered architectures. The course will also cover software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, UP (Unified Process) & RUP (Rational Unified Process) using Hands-on Enterprise Web Project to implement functional and NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) such as security (SSL), HA (High availability), Performance, Usability & Scaling.
