Course Details

This beginner course in graphic design production is designed to introduce students to the typographic and graphic design fundamentals that are needed for the creation of documents for print. Emphasis is placed on learning basic skills and techniques of computer graphics, electronic imaging, and digital production for print. The 10 projects are designed to teach the introductory skills of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The final project is a real world 'concept to print' project of the student's choice. If you are an aspiring graphic designer or simply want to create beautiful pamphlets, newsletters or books, you will find this course invaluable.

Special Note:

This course will be taught on Macintosh computers as is the industry standard but all techniques apply equally to Windows software.
