Having your own business sounds simple, but the fact remains that a large proportion of new businesses fail, and fail without looking at the fundamentals. This course is designed to provide practical and theoretical knowledge equipping students with the skills necessary to establish a business. From idea formulation to business plan development, the course will cover market analysis and positioning, financial planning, organizational management, and resource management. Topics covered will incorporate all aspects of a business: organization, marketing, financial management and human resources. By looking at these aspects the course will allow students to look at opportunities objectively and realistically therefore giving any potential entrepreneur the means to succeed.
