Integrated Marketing Communications (8 Weeks) (PRE101)
This course focuses on the output side of the corporation, what it produces in goods and/or services and how it generates demand for these. This includes product publicity, marketing-focused media relations, consumer events, product launches, promotions, exhibitions and how these build brand.
Mr. Blick has over 20 years of experience as a marketing & PR professional, consultant, corporate trainer and educator in numerous multi-cultural environments across a wide range of industries with some of the top brands in the world from consumer goods, finance and banking, automotive, transportation, and technology. Mr. Blick is currently an executive with Weber Shandwick, a leading global PR agency, in the Tokyo office and oversees client services, strategic counsel and planning, and business development while leading and developing account teams. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick he worked at a domestic agency and another international firm, and has nearly 15 years of total professional experience in Japan.
br />Mr. Blick has taught marketing to professionals in continuing studies for the past three years and has been a guest lecturer for Temple University Japan's undergraduate program, Sophia University, International University of Japan (IUJ) MBA, Aoyama Gakuin MBA, EFAP, and is a frequent speaker at local professional events. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Political Science from the University of Kansas.
