International Business Cultures (IBC101)
This course explores how culture shapes business processes across countries, generations & genders. Special attention will be given to intercultural tools that measure national culture using gap analysis. An inter-disciplinary approach combining theory with practical tips will be used. This course will benefit professionals at all levels of the organization. The instructor welcomes people already working internationally, whether virtually or in-person, and aspiring talent. IBC101 is also designed for people who want to increase comfort levels within-&-between gender and/or generational cultures in their workplace.
Annette Leonie Karseras
Annette Karseras develops leaders and teams at all levels of the organization. She has trained with the Coach Training Institute, the Intercultural Communication Institute, Systems Coaching group in the Society for Organisational Learning and is currently a member of the Association for Coaching's Global Research Group and the International Coach Federation's Tokyo Chapter. Annette completed her Masters degree at the University of Leicester, UK. Using enjoyable, practical activities Annette helps people develop their ability to align intention with impact especially in cross-cultural situations and during periods of professional and organizational change. She delivers skills to use tomorrow, and insights for strategic win-wins in the long-term. Annette has lived, travelled, and worked in over 15 countries, and uses Japanese and French alongside international English.
