This course covers the fundamentals of effective recruiting strategies. The aim is to develop the knowledge and skills to become a better recruiter in both in-house and external settings. Through group discussions, lectures, case studies and real-world assignments, participants will focus on key aspects of recruiting: the typical steps of a hiring process, mastering the identification of an organization's talent needs and ensuring job structures meet those needs, the development of an effective and compelling role that attracts quality candidates, interviewing to promote constructive dialog while reducing bias, effective use of different recruitment channels, and lastly, developing effective screening, negotiating and onboarding processes. This course would benefit anyone interested in developing their skills in recruitment, HR professionals who are already involved with recruiting and seek greater influence and organizational responsibility, and business owners and executives interested in learning more about securing the right talent.
