Course Details

Familiarize yourself with the real world of corporate finance! In this course the students will learn the basic framework of financial analysis and will apply it to companies to gain an in-depth understanding of the most important issues, ranging from the basics of corporate governance to the complicated realm of valuation. In this applied course, together, we will cover the fundamentals of investments including the measurement of the cost of capital; and the reasoning behind two other value enhancing corporate decisions through financing and dividend decisions. You will be able to interpret the basic financial information and evaluate projects. We will also delve into the importance of cash flow and cash management. To enhance your understanding of the tools and techniques, the course makes extensive use of real-world examples. This course is designed to help bridge the gap between the theoretical concepts and their application in the real world.
