About Continuing Education Units
Students in TUJ Continuing Education are awarded Continuing Education Units (CEUs) at the end of each semester based on attendance and coursework performance. Since this is a non-credit program, CEUs are not transferable to academic programs. However, CEUs may be included in resumes and applications to academic programs as evidence of study or training for professional or personal enrichment. CEUs may also be used to earn certificates in various areas.
One CEU is the equivalent of 10 contact hours.
Students earn a PASS mark and the corresponding number of CEUs if they meet the criteria of at least 70% attendance and 70% coursework performance. Coursework performance is based on classroom participation, assignments, quizzes, presentations, and/or projects.
