Getting Your Visa for the First Time

All non-Japanese students who intend to take classes for more than three months and who do not have a resident, diplomatic, dependent, or spousal visa must acquire a student visa through TUJ. TUJ will submit your visa documents to the Japanese Immigration Bureau on your behalf.

Please see the Applying for a Student Visa section under Admissions for instructions on how to apply and for regulations pertaining to visa-seeking students.
