Student Government
Mission
The TUJ Student Government (TUJSG) was established to serve the Student Body by organizing and representing its voice and needs regarding academic and student life issues.

Roles
President
The President is responsible for all actions taken by the SG and oversees the progress of the SG members. The President is also the bridge between the TUJ administration and the SG, thus representing the SG and communicating the voices of the administration to the SG and visa versa.
Vice President
The Vice President is responsible for making project proposals and ideas into reality. The Vice President manages more in detail the progress of the other SG members. The Vice President also assumes responsibility of the President in case of their absence.
Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for taking minutes during meetings and recording activities of the SG.
Clubs Director
The Clubs Director is responsible for managing the student clubs including their formation, budgeting process, activities, and expenditure approvals. The Club Director is the bridge between the clubs and SG, communicates needs for clubs and proposes ideas related to clubs.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for recording and managing the SG fund, which is used for SG activities and student clubs.
Community Affairs Director
The Community Affairs Director works closely with the TUJ External Relations Department to promote TUJ to the public and to provide TUJ students with opportunities externally.
Event Coordinator
The Event Coordinator organizes and runs events decided by the SG.
Eligibility
Any TUJ students who have been enrolled for more than 1 semester and have maintained an overall GPA of 2.50 are eligible to run for office in the Student Government. The SG term begins after the third week of the fall semester to the third week of the next fall semester. An election is held to determine the SG members. All students in the Student Body are eligible to vote.
