Definitions for JA and SA

TUJ students are either on short-term study abroad programs through the university's main campus in Philadelphia, USA, or as locally admitted longer term students who may complete their studies over an extended period of time. These long-term overseas students who are admitted directly through TUJ in Tokyo are referred to as "Japan Admit" students and will be referred to by this name or as "JA" students on this website, and short-term study abroad students are referred to as "SA."
