Admission Status

Students are admitted as either:

  1. Degree-seeking (matriculated) Students

First-year and transfer students intending to take 30 or more credits at TUJ.

  2. Non-degree-seeking (non-matriculated) Students

Students who plan to take fewer than 30 credits at TUJ (includes summer-only and study abroad students from non-U.S. universities).

Bridge Program students are admitted as "non-degree-seeking." Their status becomes "degree-seeking" upon successful completion of the Bridge Program.

Notes:

  • To take more than 30 credits at TUJ, a student must apply for degree-seeking status.
