Admission Application Requirements For Non-degree-seeking Students

All documents not in English must be professionally translated. Submit the original, the translation, and a letter of verification from the translator or a notarization. Documents will not be returned.

Non-degree-seeking students will have their transcripts reviewed for admissions purposes, but not for transfer credit and will not receive a credit transfer evaluation.

For Native English Speakers (One of the following examinations)

  • SAT:
    Order official SAT scores using TUJ's school code (3702). For more information on the SAT, visit www.collegeboard.com
  • ACT:
    Order official ACT scores using TUJ's school code (5298). For more information on the ACT, visit www.act.org

For Non-native English Speakers (One of the following examinations taken no earlier than two years before the date of application to TUJ)

  • TOEFL:
    Order an official score reports using TUJ's school code (9698). For more information on the TOEFL examination, visit www.ets.org/toefl/
  • IELTS:
    Request that an official report be sent directly to TUJ. For more information on IELTS, visit www.ielts.org

TUJ conducts institutional TOEFL (ITP) exams every month. Scores are valid only in an application to TUJ.


3. Official University or College Transcripts in English

Submit transcripts from all accredited universities and colleges where the applicant was ever enrolled and, if necessary, an English translation. Transcripts must be in a sealed envelope issued by the institution.

Applicants with less than 30 transferable college-level semester credits must submit both high school and college transcripts.


4. Copy of Certificate of Graduation or High School Diploma

Submit a copy of the certificate of graduation or high school diploma and, if necessary, an English translation. Current high school students may submit a letter from the school stating the expected date of graduation. Upon graduation, students must submit a copy of the certificate of graduation or high school diploma.
