Application Fee Payment Options

For Degree-seeking and Non-degree-seeking Students

The non-refundable application fee is ¥10,000.

Upon admission to TUJ, applicants will be required to pay a ¥35,000 non-refundable admission fee. This fee confirms intention to enroll and secures a place at TUJ. Instructions on how to pay the admission fee will be sent along with the admissions decision.

Prospective students applying for a Japanese student visa through TUJ ("visa-sponsored students") will also pay a visa application fee of ¥20,000 as a part of the Advance Payment.

For Non-degree-seeking Students Applying for Summer Semester Only

The non-refundable admissions application fee is ¥15,750. TUJ does not sponsor student visas for summer-only students, as many nationalities are eligible for a three-month tourist visa. Applicants should check the visa policy for their own country.
