First Semester Begins

1st Week of the Semester (drop/add period)

Students are able to revise their initial registration during the first week of the semester. Make sure to attend the first classes of the courses you registered for to confirm your intention of continuing these courses. Check the academic calendar to see the last day for adding a course. No revision fee is required.


Note:
New students who do not process their initial registration during the new student orientation week will be charged a late registration fee of 5,250 yen.

2nd Week of the Semester (drop only period)

During this period you will only be able to drop a course, with a revision fee of 5,250 yen being applied. No adding of courses is allowed. Check the academic calendar to see the last day for dropping a course. There will be no record on the official transcript if students drop a course by this deadline. A cancellation of a course after this deadline will be processed as a withdrawal with tuition and revision fee charge and will appear on the official transcript.


First Semester Tuition

Check the TUJ billing schedule to see the last day to complete the payment for your first semester tuition.


Note for future registration
Non-degree seeking students are required to meet an academic advisor if they intend to continue their study at TUJ after their first semester. Make an appointment to see the advisor as soon as the priority registration information is posted. Non-degree seeking students are not allowed to complete more than 30 credits at Temple University.
