Tuition Payment Schedule for Summer 2009

Your tuition statement will be sent to your temple.edu e-mail account during the registration period.


Priority Registration
Bill is sent on April 13 - Payment due date April 27

LOA Registration
Bill is sent on May 22 - Payment due date June 16

New Student Registration
Bill is sent on May 22 - Payment due date June 16

Late Registration
Bill is sent on May 29 - Payment due date June 16

Final Statement
Bill is sent on June 9 - Payment due date June 16



Easy Payment Plan

To assist students with the costs associated with studying, TUJ offers an installment plan called Easy Payment Plan. Current students will receive the details about how to apply for the Easy Payment Plan via temple.edu e-mail account with the tuition statement.

Details of the plan for Summer 2009 are as follows:


Current Students

If you register by the end of priority registration (April 9th), you can split your payment into three installments. Payment deadlines for Summer 2009 are as follows:

  • April 27, 2009 - 33% of total charges
  • May 28, 2009 - 33% of total charges
  • June 29, 2009 - Remaining Balance

For example, if your total charges are 600,000 yen, you would pay as follows:

  • April 27, 2009 - 200,000 yen
  • May 28, 2009 - 200,000 yen
  • June 29, 2009 - 200,000 yen

Please note that current students must apply for the Easy Payment Plan by April 27th, 2009. Applications after this date will not be accepted.



New, LOA and Late Registration Students

For new, LOA and late registration students, you can split your payment into two installments. Payment deadlines for Summer 2009 are as follows:

  • June 16, 2009 - 50% of total charges
  • July 16, 2009 - Remaining Balance

For example, if your total charges are 600,000 yen, you would pay as follows:

  • June 16, 2009 - 300,000 yen
  • July 16, 2009 - 300,000 yen

Please note that New, LOA and late registration students must apply for the Easy Payment Plan by June 16th, 2009. Applications after this date will not be accepted. All new students acquiring a visa through TUJ must pay an Advance Payment and cannot apply for the Easy Payment Plan in their first semester. Late Registration and Registration Re-instatement

From Summer 2009, any students currently studying in the Spring semester who register for the first time for Summer semester after the end of the priority registration period (April 9th) will be charged a late registration fee of 5,250 yen.

Additionally, any current students who register during the priority registration period but fail to pay their amount by the due date will have their registration canceled. Students who then re-register will incur a 5,250 yen registration re-instatement fee.


Payment Method

All payments to TUJ should be made in the applicant's name via wire transfer using the bank information below. TUJ does NOT accept personal checks, money orders or credit card payments. Cash payments can only be made in person to the TUJ bursar. The sender is responsible for all bank charges.
