General and Strategic Management 2501 (formerly 0100): Asian Business Perspectives
3 credit hours (non-CLA)

Prerequisite: One of Economics 1001, Economics 1101, Economics 1102, or Economics 1103

A course designed to give you a broad knowledge of Asian business practices. It compares Japanese, Chinese, and Korean businesses and examines the special features of Japanese business, such as the network relationships among corporate groups called keiretsu. Given an understanding of Asian business, we will examine how American companies should compete in Asia. Note, FoxSchool students must be junior level or have special permission of their academic adviser.
