American Culture
For better or worse, the culture of the United States has a powerful influence on world affairs. Courses in this core area provide students with an opportunity to examine closely some aspects of American culture. A portion of each course is devoted to the significant experiences, achievements, and contributions of ethnic minorities and women in American life.
