Call for Papers: Temple University, Japan Campus Applied Linguistics Colloquium 2009

The organizing committee of the Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) Applied Linguistics Colloquium invites interested
applied linguistic researchers to submit proposals for presentation at the TUJ Applied Linguistics Colloquium 2009 which will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Temple University, Japan Campus in Tokyo. This colloquium is co-sponsored by the JALT Tokyo Chapter and Pragmatics SIG.
Please note that research in any area of Applied Linguistics will be welcome. Two types of proposals will be considered:
- Reports on completed research
- Works in progress (including completed research design and/or data collection)
Presentations will be 30 minutes in length (including 10 minutes for questions and answers).
Please send a 50-word summary for the colloquium program, a 150-word abstract, and personal information to the following e-mail address with an attached file (Word or Rich Text File) by December 15, 2009.

The attached file should consist of 2 pages:
- one cover page with
- name of all authors
- full address
- phone and fax
- e-mail address of all authors
- affiliation
- paper title
- proposed type of presentation (i.e., completed research, work in progress)
- a 50-word summary
- an anonymous one-page 150-word abstract with paper title
Please write your name (family, first) in the space for subject (RE) when you e-mail the file. Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance of your proposal will be sent to you by mid-January (around January 15, 2009).
