You can take the following standardized tests at TUJ, some on a regular basis and others as needed. Some of the tests we proctor are listed below.

LSAT

LSAT is a law school admissions test commonly used in the United States.

TUJ administers the test on its occurrences in June, October, and December. Candidates should note that the test is given at the same time it is administered in the U.S. on Saturday afternoon, so it is generally given here on a Sunday morning. Please check your local schedule.

CLEP

CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) provides exams that demonstrates college-level achievement. Each of the 34 CLEP examinations is computerized and available at TUJ.

Miller Analogies Test

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a standardized, 50 minute test of verbal skills that is often used as an alternative to GRE for admission to graduate programs in North American Universities. MAT is given at TUJ Tokyo Center, Osaka Center and Fukuoka Center.

For TUJ Applicants and Students

Institutional TOEFL (ITP)

Institutional TOEFL (ITP) is given on a regular basis at TUJ for applicants to Academic English Program or Undergraduate Program. The scores are valid only in an application to TUJ.

TOEIC (Listening and Reading)

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication ) is given on a regular basis for TUJ students only.

Registration: TUJ Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students can register for the test at the Test Center, which is located on the third floor of Azabu Hall. Please be sure to bring the exact fee (¥5,000) with you.
Students in Other TUJ Programs
Students in the TUJ Continuing Education and Corporate Education programs should register by submitting the application form (MS Word: 91KB) by e-mail or fax it to the Test Center.
