Hip-hop is a worldwide cultural phenomenon, changing the ways people approach art, music, fashion and politics. The Wakai Project brings together artists, writers, and producers to explore the many aspects of hip-hop's creative potential. Featuring a panel discussion examining hip-hop's place in youth culture, a documentary film about the life of an underground rapper in NYC, a dance contest, fashion show and live music.
