Checking Out and Renewing Items

Borrowing Period

The loan period for undergraduate students is eight weeks; for graduate students and staff/faculty the loan period is one semester. Alumni and Minato-ku guest patrons may borrow books for four weeks. The loan period for videos is seven days.

Number of Items

A maximum of 10 items can be borrowed at one time by students. The maximum number for videos is three at a time.
Alumni and Minato-ku guest patrons may borrow a total of 3 items at one time.

Renewal

The renewal period is eight weeks or until the end of the current semester for undergraduate students. The renewal period for graduate students is until the start of the next term. Videos and DVDs cannot be renewed.

In order to renew items, please come to the library or contact us on or before the due date.
