Candidates who do not hold a first degree in law
Candidates without a law degree who have earned a degree in a related field or who have legal-related professional experience may enroll in our certificate programs or audit our courses. Non-law graduates may be required to interview to determine their eligibility.
- Certificate of International Law / American Legal Studies
Temple Law School offers two certificate programs at its Tokyo campus. By obtaining a certificate, you will obtain valuable legal knowledge and distinguish yourself among your peers.
- Audit Class
Qualified candidates may audit law courses on a space available basis. Audit students are expected to read and prepare for classes, but they are not required to sit for the final exam.
Introductory courses offered in Continuing Education Program
If you are simply interested in expanding your knowledge in introductory law courses, you might be able to find a suitable courses in our Continuing Education Program.
