Since 1994, Temple University Beasley School of Law has taught "Real Law" concepts for practical application in the "Real World" at its Tokyo campus. Temple's outstanding faculty of international lawyers and expert scholars educate students about American, international, and comparative law. Our faculty use innovative teaching methods to show how to apply theories to real life legal and business problems. Our courses enable students to develop their analytical skills, formulate persuasive arguments, and learn legal concepts and principles. Temple's cutting edge approach to legal education will prepare you for every facet of the ever-changing world of law in the 21st century.
Leader in Global Legal Education
With programs in Philadelphia, Tokyo, Beijing, Rome, and Tel Aviv, Temple Law School stands as a leader in global legal education. Foreign-trained lawyers and scholars have studied at Temple since 1974, when its LL.M. program was founded. For the past decade, Temple's programs in Japan have attracted students from around the world. In 2005, students from over 15 countries studied law at the Tokyo campus. Past and present students currently use their "Real World" education in many industries in Japan and across the globe.
