Visiting Adjunct Professor Edward Yeh to speak at the ACCJ on Business Negotiations with Chinese Business People and Lawyers

Temple University Beasley School of Law was ranked in the top 20 of all U.S. law schools in International Law by U.S. News and World Report in 2006. To further the study of international law by practicing attorneys and business people in Tokyo, on April 12, 2007, Temple Law School Visiting Adjunct Professor Edward Yeh will be speaking at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan on Business Negotiations with Chinese Business People and Lawyers.

In the past 25 years, China has made much progress in providing a business environment conducive to international business transactions. At present, however, many Westerners still perceive the Chinese market to be a complex and uncertain business environment. Negotiating business deals in China can be one of the most difficult challenges that Western CEOs and lawyers face. In order to minimize misunderstandings and pave the way for success, it is important to understand the differences in negotiation style between American and Chinese negotiators.

*This event is for members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and their guests only.
