This course is a survey of topics in modern psychology. We will cover topics that demonstrate the broad range of the field. Topics will include mental disorders, counseling, extraordinary mental powers, self-fulfillment, depression, parapsychology, adolescent psychology, and recent findings about the brain. Students will be asked to suggest additional topics, such as the psychology of old age, psycholinguistics, and sleeping and dreaming.
