This course looks at ways to make community development participatory and sustainable, by viewing the community as a form of social network. In the first segment of the course, we discuss key factors of sustainable community development and how we can fulfill our roles as facilitators. We then explore various facilitation methods in use in community development. Classes use a workshop approach and rely on participant involvement.
