Business ethics is a subject which is getting more attention after various scandals and the current financial meltdown. This course will look at major areas concerned with ethics in today's business environment. By starting with an overview of morality and ethics students will then look at how these affect corporations and the economic systems currently employed. This will lead on to more specific issues such as organizations and people, business functions such as marketing and information technology and consumer rights. Finally the course will look at the environment and future factors to be considered.

Instructor: Ronald Miller
Ron Miller has an MBA with majors in marketing and organizational behavior from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He earned his BA in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley. He was born in the United States and has lived in Japan for over two years.
He is currently teaching business English and developing course curriculum at a leading corporate training company that has many clients in the Fortune 500. Prior to that, he was a strategy consultant and gained experience in a wide range of industries, including software, hardware, real estate, and pharmaceuticals.
