Stand and Deliver: Communication Skills Boot Camp (Level 2) (CBC201)

This boot camp requires individuals to develop and support opinions on a wide range of world, national, local and societal issues. Participants will have to focus more on their ability to "think on their feet.""I have never thought about that" will not be adequate. Individuals will have to utilize their own mental resources to think issues through and take a position. This boot camp is for individuals who want to do business or study abroad. This level of boot camp is the "Sharpening of the sword." This segment is more of the same with a different set of readings from the class text and research papers based on participant input. There is the addition of the 5 minute essay, where the instructor assigns a topic to be written on, with the results read and discussed in class. This course requires performance while under pressure. Previous students have had results because the pressure to deliver is EXTREME. Those that survived did not have to ask, "Did my skills improve?" They know it because they did the work!What separates these courses from others is, lots of work and no mercy.
