"Effective Business Presentations for Non-Native English Speakers"
The primary aim of this course is to help participants refine the quality, clarity and effectiveness of their presentations, while learning to prepare their presentations in an efficient and systematic way. This is a workshop-style semi-private course, minimum 2 and maximum 4 participants in a class, which utilizes extensive use of interactive exercises.
Objective
The objectives of this course are to:
- Provide participants with the skills and confidence to give successful business presentations;
- Understand and apply key elements of impact presentations
- Practice targeting key messages within a limited time
- Better manage the overall presentation process, including Q & A
- Learn to analyze and incorporate the effective use of PowerPoint slides and other visual aids
Suitable For
- Those who need to prepare professional presentations in English to current clients, potential customers, colleagues, supervisors, or subordinates, often with short notice or serious time constraints
- An intermediate English level (TOEIC > 650) or higher is strongly recommended but TUJ will provide a complimentary telephone interview to verify appropriateness of English level
Practical Details
- Price: ¥99,750 (¥95,000 without tax) per participant
- 2 day intensive 9:30-16:30 (13:00-14:00 Lunch Break): Total 12 instructional hours
- Minimum 2 and maximum 4 participants in a class
- Registration Deadline: 1 week before the scheduled start of the course
- Location: Temple University, Japan Campus: Minami-Azabu 2-8-12
- Participants are requested to bring a laptop PC

Pre-class Preparation:
All participants are to select a topic and make a 5-minute presentation at the beginning of Day 1. They may be instructed to prepare copies of their presentation for other course participants. They should bring their own laptop PCs.

Application Procedure
- Complete the online registration form.
- A TUJ Corporate Education representative will telephone you for a 5-minute interview. This is to ensure that your English level is compatible with the level of the other applicants, and to assess your needs.
- You will be sent a confirmation email of your registration. Depending on your interview result, you may be recommended to apply for another TUJ Corporate Education course.
Payment
Payment of ¥99,750 (¥95,000 without tax) may be made through company invoicing after the training.
