News:

Executives Speak at Fox MBA

At the MBA program, we invite top executives in residence to our classrooms as well as to the Guest Speaker Series during lunch hour. In the classrooms, our students are challenged by those executives. Most recently, Ms. Kay Deguchi, Representative Director and President of Stryker Japan, and Mr. Steffen Studeny, Representative Director of Q-Cells Japan, participated in the Cotemporary Corporate Strategy Course taught by Professor Stefan Lippert. Groups of MBA students were assigned to analyze the solar energy business of Q-Cells and its competitors. On the last day of the course, student groups made presentations to the executives.

During the more relaxed Guest Speaker Series, top executives give talks to our students. Most recently, Mr. Thomas Fisher, CEO of BNY Mellon Japan, came to discuss corporate challenges.

TUJ Hanami along Meguro River

The TUJ Alumni Association in collaboration with TUJ Development & Alumni Relations will have a hanami party on Saturday April 7, 2012 along the Meguro River in Nakameguro from noon onwards. The seating area will be along the river behind ONCE in Nakameguro where we have our monthly TUJ Night. TUJ looks forward to a great hanami gathering. Look for a big TUJ Alumni Association Banner along the river or contact us at tujalumni@tuj.temple.edu if you can't find us.

2012 Dean's Luncheon

On March 10, 2012, Dean Bruce Stronach invited new donors to a private lunch to thank them for their support and share new initiatives and plans for the 30th anniversary of TUJ. The support of many alumni, parents and individuals will not only help achieve TUJ's mission, but also help in developing new and greater opportunities for our students. Dean Bruce Stronach would like to again thank all donors and supporters of TUJ.

March TUJ Night

March was another successful night for the third Thursday tradition of TUJ Night. With over 20 alumni gathered from TESOL, MBA, Law, and Undergraduate programs, the alumni had a chance to talk with graduates from different fields. Graduates from the early 1990's to 2011 shared experiences, networked, and learned about future plans. TUJ welcomes all new 2012 alumni to the monthly third Thursday TUJ Night gathering.
