The results of the Executive Committee election held at the reunion on October 26 are in, and your new TUJ Alumni Association officials are:

• Secretary: Vacant; looking for a volunteer

• Executive Members: Dr. Sandra Fotos, Mr. Jeffrey Tarlofsky, and Mr. Naoki Sakata

The new president and other officers will assume their posts on January 1, 2008, and serve for two years. The position of secretary is currently vacant; if you're interested, please contact tuj.alumni@gmail.com. To the 98 alumni who voted, thank you very much for your participation.

All alumni of Temple University, Main Campus as well as Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) are qualified to vote for the election. Voting will take place at the alumni reunion on Friday, October 26th. However, alumni who are unable to attend the reunion can vote via online form. The deadline for online voting is midnight of Friday, October 26th, the date of alumni reunion.

All alumni of Temple University, Main Campus as well as Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) are qualified to be candidates. Voting will take place at the alumni reunion on Friday, October 26. Alumni who are unable to attend the reunion will be able to vote via email.

The mission of the TUJ Alumni Association is to support TUJ along with activities, such as organizing alumni events, recruitment, and fundraising. We need your diverse talents to achieve our goals. We now have more opportunities to become involved in TUJ and alumni activities than ever before, and the key to the future success of TUJ is your involvement.

The TUJ Alumni Association (E-mail: tuj.alumni@gmail.com) is planning a party for the evening of Saturday, June 16, a week after the 2007 graduation ceremony, to welcome new graduates. This will be a perfect opportunity to meet freshly minted TUJ graduates and see old friends as well in a friendly Temple atmosphere. Let's get together to celebrate the newest crop of grads and have a fun time!

Purpose of this lunch is to get together and exchange information about career and business in general with a small of group people in a friendly atmosphere. Since it will be during the lunch time on a weekend, we look forward to seeing new people who cannot attend night time party events.
