The Dean’s List Luncheon celebrating students for their academic excellence was held in February, with Dean Bruce Stronach, several faculty and honored students in attendance. Stronach mentioned he was very pleased to see the number of TUJ students making the list – 54 for fall semester 2016 — was growing in recent years.

Yuki Kaito, a Dean’s List senior majoring in economics, attended the lunch for the second time. He said, “I feel so honored to be able to join this lunch. My professors and classmates and I talked about graduate schools, and I had a chance to think about my future career.”

Students making the Dean’s List meet the same criteria used at Temple Main Campus in Philadelphia, which represents the top 15% grade point averages at all Temple campuses. The luncheon was organized by the Academic Advising Center and other university departments.
