Temple Tokyo and Rome Promote Global Education

Dean of Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) Bruce Stronach and Dean of Temple University, Rome Campus (TUR) Hilary Link discuss the mission and goals of both campuses, the international environments offered to their students, and further collaborations around the world with Main Campus in Philadelphia. They also discussed possibilities of developing joint programs including internships and certificate programs. Rome Dean Link visited TUJ for the first time earlier this month. TUR is celebrating its 50th anniversary, while TUJ will mark 35 years in Tokyo in June. The deans discussed where Temple is now and how it is going forward.

Temple University Rome

TUR, established in 1966, provides students from a variety of disciplines the opportunity to study in Rome for an academic year, semester or summer. Over its 50-year history, Temple Rome has maintained a strong academic and cultural program that takes advantage of the splendid resources Rome and Italy have to offer, both historical and contemporary.
