As one of the universities selected for the FY2014 Top Global University Project (Global Traction Type) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Sophia University aims to further increase internationalization through collaboration with top universities overseas. It plans reform measures to create a global campus with multilateral hub functions. TUJ, designated as a “Foreign University, Japan Campus” by MEXT in 2005, offers all classes in English. Over 40% of the undergraduate student body is American, about 40% Japanese, and around 20% from more than 50 other countries. Both institutions are committed to supporting job placement of highly motivated foreign nationals seeking work in Japan and Japanese students with excellent English skills and global career aspirations.

This event is open to students at Sophia and TUJ, and is designed to attract a wide range of internationally-minded students who wish to work as global players, especially foreign students seeking a job in Japan and Japanese looking to go global. Sophia and TUJ aim to create an opportunity for students and businesses to meet each other.
