What made you decide to pursue an MBA?

I had more and more subordinates and I thought that an MBA was essential to enhance my career. In my company, all branch managers and people in higher positions have an MBA, and that is also a big reason I decided to pursue an MBA.

Why did you choose the Executive MBA Program at Temple University, Japan Campus?

The weekend schedule fit my schedule as a full-time worker, and the campus is easily accessible from my home by train. In addition, I was an undergraduate student at Temple University, Japan Campus and I knew that the university offers high quality education. When I attended an information session, I was sure this was the program I should attend.

Which course did you like the most? And why?

Contemporary Corporate Strategy: Taking this course taught me to understand the company broadly.

Management Information Technology: I learned how to utilize the latest technologies for business.

Power, Influence, Negotiation: For group work, each of us was assigned a role and worked on a case study. I can use this experience in real business.

What is your best memory of the program?

A field trip to a Toyota factory and a hatcho miso factory in Nogoya that we organized, and the after class pub crawls that started at a bar near campus. We even had a Christmas/Networking party with MBA students from other universities. I am still connected with classmates and people who I met through the program. I have connections with some of them in business.

A message to prospective students

Why don't you join an open class or information session? You can learn more about the program, experience a real class, and meet alumni and listen to their experiences. When you want to start is the right time to start. You will not be alone; you will work with your classmates and share valuable experiences with them.
