What made you decide to pursue an MBA?
I wanted to learn more about starting and managing my own business. I also felt that a simple bachelor's degree wouldn't give me any competitive advantage in the future, and looked towards doing a Master's degree to add to my resume.
Why did you choose Executive MBA Program at Temple University, Japan Campus?
The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions with a smile. The course material also covered a lot of topics that I had wanted to study, and I received a good impression of the curriculum and university after doing some research. Lastly, the tuition was affordable, and the schedule fit quite well with my full-time work schedule.
Which course did you like the most? And why?
I enjoyed Contemporary Corporate Strategy because it was one of the topics I wanted to learn about, and the HR courses (Managing and Developing Human Capital in the Enterprise and Leading and Managing Teams and Individuals) because the professors taught in a way that I found entertaining.
What is your best memory of the program?
Spending time with my classmates working on our projects, eating lunch, and drinking afterwards. I also enjoyed making presentations in front of my peers and professors.
A message to prospective students
If you're looking to further your understanding of business administration and qualifications in an environment that supports you, encourages you to succeed, and lifts you up to become more than you are, then the TUJ course is it!
It wasn't easy. In fact there were times when I really struggled -- partly due to lack of sleep -- but in the end I felt it was worth it when I put on my graduation robe and collected my MBA.
