To qualify for the J.D. Semester Abroad program in Tokyo, applicants must have completed their first year of full-time legal studies or its equivalent and be in good academic and disciplinary standing at an American Bar Association accredited law school.

|Program Application and Visa Application Deadlines:||November 1|
Note: We will assist visa applications submitted after the Program Application and Student Visa Application Deadline. However, late applicants may not receive a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the Japanese Immigration Bureau in time to enter Japan on a student visa. (A COE is required to obtain a student visa.) Until students attain a student visa, they might have to endure some inconvenience. For more information about visa application, please contact us.
