Overview of Position

Applicants for this position will teach at least one section of Introduction to Academic Discourse in the Bridge Program and/or Freshman Year Writing program. The prospective instructor will work primarily with non-native English speakers from a variety of backgrounds and proficiency levels.

Teaching Fields

Introduction to Academic Writing.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Fluent in English
  • Bilingual English/Japanese a plus
  • Master degree in TESOL, composition, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience teaching writing/composition courses at the American university education system, or equivalent contexts in Japanese Universities.
