About the Event
Ken Karube and Hiroshi Sasaki will lead the discussion with Robert Dujarric.
Hiroshi Sasaki is currently executive director of the Japan Local Government Center in New York. He is a graduate of Tokyo University (BA, Law) and Cornell University (Masters in Politics).
Ken Karube is the New York bureau chief of Jiji Press, Japanese news agency. Previously, he was the Washington Bureau chief (2004-07), and a correspondent to Washington (1993-96). He also served as chief correspondent to the Bank of Japan and the Finance Ministry for Jiji. He is a graduate of Waseda University (BA, Law).
