About the Event

The music industry is in crisis - you've heard the news. But in the virtual world of Second-Life, an alternative music economy is emerging. Already, real musicians are making a living by playing exclusively in Second-Life, and music labels and clubs of a new kind are created every week. This exhibition in Harajuku's Design Festa Gallery is the result of 3 months of field study and research in Second-Life, done by Temple University Japan students. With snapshots, sounds, videos, interviews, you'll see what music could become in the next 10 years.
