Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ), offers you a unique opportunity to receive an American university education in Tokyo. A TUJ degree is the same one you would earn at Temple University, the 28th-largest university in the U.S. You can complete all your coursework in Tokyo or transfer freely to Temple's campuses in Philadelphia and Rome. TUJ conducts all courses in English, except Japanese and other foreign-language courses.
Studying in Japan
TUJ offers a vibrant international environment where you can develop your analytical, cognitive, linguistic and social skills and get a truly multicultural perspective. We also offer more academic options than any other university with an English-based curriculum in Japan, including a short-term study-abroad program.
Preparing for an International Career
Through coursework and optional hands-on internships at multinational and domestic companies in Tokyo, you'll graduate from TUJ with the cognitive, cross-cultural communicative, linguistic, and professional skills necessary to jumpstart a career in the global market.
Multinational Student Body
Students from over fifty countries attend TUJ. Besides attracting students from Japan and the United States, TUJ students come from Australia, Yemen, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Taiwan, Denmark, Nigeria, France and Russia, to name just a few.
Student-Centered University
The expert faculty at TUJ will work closely with you in small classes averaging less than twenty students that facilitate lively discussions and enable professors to give you individualized attention. You can enroll straight out of high school or transfer credits earned at accredited colleges and universities anywhere in the world.
