The Continuing Education program at Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ), is a noncredit program that draws students from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. The program's evening and weekend courses cater primarily to working professionals seeking to enhance their skills.
Developing Professional Skills
Students serious about developing themselves professionally will benefit from classes taught by working professionals, including lawyers and professional artists and writers. The program offers courses focusing on the arts, branding and communications, accounting, small business management, and project management, as well as computer-related courses on business computing, computer graphics, web design, and networking.
Certificate Programs
TUJ Continuing Education offers certificate programs in the arts, management, IT and various other fields that will provide practical training, enrich your resume, give proof of concentrated study, and keep you current with developments in your chosen field.
Ways to Expand Your Horizons
The program offers courses designed to boost your skills in English, Japanese and Chinese as well as courses in various disciplines, such as linguistics, psychology and magazine writing. In addition, there are courses in academic skills preparation—including academic writing, critical reading, and note-taking—courses in culture and the arts, such as interior design, painting and yoga, and even a master wine class where tasting is an essential activity.
