Spontaneity: The Art of Improvisation (One-day Workshop) (IMP101-SP)
"The essence of pleasure is spontaneity." -Germaine Greer
Improvisation, also known as 'winging it', 'ad-libbing' and 'speaking off the cuff', involves developing natural creative expression, improving communication and storytelling skills, and practicing acting and speaking without preparation, all while having fun!
Life can throw at us challenges that we haven't planned for on a daily basis. How can we deal with the unexpected with less stress and more ease and pleasure? In a positive, fun, and encouraging environment, participants will learn the foundations of improvisation through simple exercises and games that can be applied to any situation in everyday life where it may be necessary to problem solve with little preparation.
Regardless of your experience, background, or training, everybody can benefit from studying improvisation!
