For the past 14 years, he has been an editor at Bloomberg News in Tokyo, covering bonds, foreign exchange and commodities markets, technology companies, steelmakers, pharmaceuticals makers and trading companies. He has a bachelor's degree in communications from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and has been teaching financial and business writing for eight years.
