This course is designed to help students develop basic consecutive interpreting skills which can be used to achieve consecutive interpreting assignments required in business settings. Various business speeches and presentation materials will be used to acquire basic interpreting techniques, such as retention techniques, quick response techniques, and note-taking techniques, including basic conference interpreting terminologies and business expressionsThis course is effective for students who are in the range of approximately TOEFL 500+/CBT 173+, TOEIC 750+, and EIKEN pre 1-kyu or above.
