This course addresses the issues of effective data management, analysis and reporting in a business environment. It focuses on the common issues and effective solutions to data management and reporting needs. Many people and organizations are still holding on to older models of data management that fail to utilize the full power of the PC and Office applications. Excel provides tools for instantly analyzing and summarizing large volumes of data in an intuitive and interactive way. Access can manage data from multiple sources including external downloads, data links and manual data entry. When these two tools are used together in a coordinated manner, remarkable efficiencies are achievable. This course explores the possibilities for effective information management strategies built around these two important applications.
Safia Hirari is the CTO and Co-founder of smart waves Japan, graduated with MSc from the faculty of computer science and mathematics at the University of Electro-Communications (Denki Tsushin Daigaku) in Tokyo, where she developed an e-learning systems and adaptive distance learning environment for her PhD research at the faculty of Information Science of the same university.
Safia Hirari is also in charge of the development and delivery of business processes optimization, and system interface applications for multinational firms using Microsoft suite and other CRM applications. She is experienced and skilled in Microsoft applications, MySQL, Perl, PHP, JAVA, and C++ Programming on Unix/Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.
She is also active in the area of organization behavior and performance management and gives training on interpersonal effectiveness based on the 7-habits methodology.
She is born and grown up in Algiers, Algeria, and speaks English, French, Arabic and Japanese.
