Conflict Resolution and Transformation (8 Weeks) (CRT101)
The purpose of this course is to help participants understand how intercultural conflicts occur and develop positive problem- solving strategies to address such conflicts. This course explains the culture-based situational conflict model integrating both theory and practice. It covers various practical situations that are applicable to personal as well as group work-related conflicts, and strives to help participants develop valuable people management skills relevant to any discipline.
Noriko Tada earned her M.A. in International & Intercultural Management at the School for International Training, Vermont, USA. She is a certified organizational ombudsperson by the International Ombudsman Association and works as an independent Cooperate Ombudsperson in Tokyo. She also works as an independent intercultural communication trainer and consultant. She has experience living and studying in the US, Switzerland, Germany and India. Her field is conflict transformation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and Intercultural Communication.
