- Students interested in taking this course are asked to submit a 300 word essay on any topic of interest. Please note that applicants for this course should have taken IAW 100, BWT101 or a previous English composition course prior to registration.(This should be sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to 03-5441-9811).

Mastering the art of writing, whether for academic purposes or for on- the-job assignments takes time and requires lots of practice. This intermediate English writing course is for those who need to hone their writing skills for whatever complex writing task is required of them and in whatever role they are in. The course will cover practice in a variety of writing forms and formats applicable to both academic or professional settings and situations. Students will be expected to write, write and write -- keeping focused on the ultimate goal of mastering the most difficult skill in learning any language.
This course covers the same curriculum as GEW101 using an online format.
