Benefits to Students

Becoming a TUJ Continuing Education student gives you the following benefits and privileges:

University Library Access

Get access to a collection of over 50,000 books and several hundred journals and magazines. All students in the Continuing Education program are allowed access to the library during the semester they are enrolled.

A 2,100 yen (non-refundable) Library Usage Fee will allow users to check out up to three items (books, videos or DVDs) at any one time. The Library Usage Fee and ID card (valid only for the current semester) will be processed in the Continuing Education office (1st floor). A photo (3 x 4 cm) will be required for the ID card.

Use of Teaching & Learning Center Resources

You can take advantage of the many services the Teaching & Learning Center offers, including free tutoring on English writing and a range of independent study materials such as TOEFL/TOEIC tapes and books.

For more information, see the Teaching & Learning Center page.

Student Assessment Reports and CEUs

Student assessment reports and CEUs are given at the end of the semester to those who pass courses. Although CEUs cannot be applied toward earning an academic degree, they are professionally recognized and formally document your knowledge and training.
